MOG 40' Specifications

Explore the Best of Boating with Marine Off Grid

The MOG 40′ is a solar electric boat created for intracoastal waters at a leisurely pace. Short coastal ocean sprints, in fair conditions (up to Beaufort Sea State 2) may be made.

An extremely shallow draft and very low bridge clearance permits solar sailing into estuaries usually accessible only by kayaks and canoes, with no limits on the length of stay.

Whether used as a yacht, hospital, school or other platform, MOG’s ability to be ‘in the environment’ is not limited by fuel.
